This year I am more excited than ever about Christmas! This is first year that we will be celebrating Christmas with both children. Today we put up the Christmas tree and decorations.
Why do we celebrate Christmas anyway? It is not about Santa, presents, or even family. It is a time to celebrate the great love that our Lord has for us. Can you imagine sending your only son into a dark, sinful, gruesome, unloving world, for the sole purpose of saving the very people who made it that way? I certainly cannot. Having children of my own has given me great perspective on this amazing sacrifice. Thank you Lord!
